Intact Genomics (IG®) Autoinduction Medium promotes high-yield growth of E. coli and high-level expression of T7 promoter-regulated recombinant proteins without time-consuming steps such as monitoring optical density (OD) or adding induction components like IPTG. Unlike traditional LB-IPTG induction systems, IG® Autoinduction Medium allows regulated protein expression in any expression system that is solely inducible by IPTG from E. coli strains containing a fully functional lac operon.
