On October 10, 2025, our CEO, Dr. Chengcang Charles Wu was invited to speak at Washington University in St. Louis on the topic of careers outside of academia.
In his seminar, Dr. Wu shared his personal journey — from his early scientific career to starting Intact Genomics. He offered valuable insights into building a successful career in the biotechnology industry, encouraging students and researchers to explore the wide range of opportunities beyond traditional academic paths.
Dr. Wu’s talk was well received by a group of PhD candidates and faculty members in plant and microbial biosciences program. His story inspired many attendees to think broadly about how scientific innovation can translate into real-world impact in life sciences.
