On January 15, 2019, Intact Genomics, Inc. announced that it has received a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Fast-Track grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases of the National Institute of Health. Intact Genomics will use its unique FAC technology and next-generation sequencing technologies (FAC-NGS as tools) to develop new technologies which can rapidly discover thousands of intact biosynthetic gene pathways for bioactive natural product compounds from un-sequenced filamentous fungi.
