On Feb 10, 2021, Intact Genomics signed a license agreement with Codex DNA (Formerly known as Synthetic Genomics-DNA) to obtain a non-exclusive license to U.S. Patent Number 7723077 “In Vitro Recombination Method” and other patents. The license allows Intact Genomics to apply the Gibson Assembly method to develop, manufacture and sell its ig-Fusion™ cloning kit and ig-Fusion™ Cloning Enzyme Premix. Intact Genomics propriety ig-Fusion™ cloning technology is a simple, rapid and highly efficient cloning tool.
